P.E.E.R. Board of Directors

P.E.E.R. is looking to expand our Board of Directors.

Are you a Rocklin resident with a passion for education? Would you like to help other parents and work for the best education opportunities in the region? If so, please contact us with your experience and reasons for wanting to join. We will be expanding the board by one member in the Fall of 2007.

Director, President - Sean Jones

Mr. Jones graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Computer Science and earned his M.B.A. from City University, Bellevue, Washington. His professional experience includes pilot, instructor, flight evaluator and Operations Officer in programs ranging from the Northrup T-38 Talon, Lockheed C-130 and Lockheed U-2. Assignment to Beale AFB in 1995 brought Sean to California and upon leaving active duty decided to call Rocklin home. Sean is a father of four, a commercial airline pilot and a Lt.Colonel in the USAF Reserve.

Director, Treasurer - Cindy Simmons

Mrs. Simmons received her B.A. from the University of California,Berkeley and her Ed.M (Masters in Education) from Harvard University. She is currently an Administrator in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at UC Davis.

Director, Secretary- Barbara Jones

Mrs. Jones is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of ICU experience. She now dedicates her time raising her four children and is active in their education and extracurricular activities.

Director - Jeff Nicolaysen

Previous R.U.S.D. Board of Trustees member and District Specialist. Mr. Nicolaysen is an experienced supporter of Public Education and Special Education needs.
